An impression of a GINELA retreat in the Pyrenees

Foundation GINELA

A place to
reconnect.

Foundation GINELA was born from a love story and a desire: to create spaces where everyone can slow down, find their centre and reconnect with what truly matters.

Inspired by the memory of Isabelle, known as Ginela, the Foundation carries a vision rooted in three essential values:

Light. Love. Peace.

Through places of renewal, gatherings, wellbeing practices and shared experiences, GINELA hopes to offer everyone a space to care for themselves, connect with others and move forward at their own pace.

A first GINELA House is now being planned in the Principality of Andorra.

A project taking shape

GINELA is growing gradually around a simple ambition: to make spaces for reconnection, learning and sharing accessible, in surroundings that invite calm and closeness to nature.

The first location is envisaged in Andorra. In time, the Foundation hopes to bring its approach to other places, notably in Portugal and Spain.

Our essence

A name, a story, a direction.

GINELA is much more than a name. It carries the memory of Isabelle and the momentum of a project born from her story, her sensitivity and what she left behind. The Foundation’s mission is to create spaces of renewal and kindness where everyone can feel welcomed as they are, regardless of age, background or beliefs. GINELA draws on universal values: Love, Peace, Sharing, Freedom and respect for living things. Its approach is open, human and non-dogmatic. It invites everyone to explore their own path, without imposing a belief, a method or a single worldview.

Our values

Love

Welcoming others with respect, presence and humanity.

Peace

Creating the conditions to slow down, breathe and find a calmer inner space.

Freedom

Respecting each person’s beliefs, journey and pace.

Sharing

Encouraging encounters, learning and connections between people.

Nature

Rediscovering a simpler relationship with living things and the environments around us.

Isabelle, the inspiration for Foundation GINELA

Isabelle

In her memory, Light-Love & Peace

Isabelle

Isabelle, at the heart of GINELA’s beginnings.

GINELA was created in memory of Isabelle, wife of Alexandre “Sacha” de Pierpont.

Her memory, her sensitivity and the values she held dear inspired a project intended to keep alive what mattered deeply to her: caring for others, sharing, light and peace.

After her passing, Alexandre wanted to transform the pain of bereavement into a project dedicated to others.

Little by little, the idea emerged of creating a place where people could pause, be heard, care for themselves, meet others and reconnect with what is essential.

GINELA was born from this intention.

Not to freeze a memory in time, but to let it live on through what is passed on, shared and built.

In memory of Isabelle

The Foundation carries her name as a link between an intimate story and an ambition that is now shared.

Turning absence into presence. A personal story into a project open to others. And a tribute into momentum for the future.

Places

Places to slow down, breathe and reconnect.

Foundation GINELA hopes to create human-scale spaces, open to nature and designed for renewal, encounters and learning.

Principality of Andorra

Andorra — the first project

The Principality of Andorra has been chosen to host the first GINELA House. In the heart of the Pyrenees, its natural surroundings offer a setting particularly suited to calm, perspective and reconnection. The project is currently in development. In time, the GINELA House is intended to welcome individual support, workshops, gatherings, movement practices, meditation and retreats lasting a few days.

And tomorrow…

Beyond a single place

GINELA’s ambition extends beyond the boundaries of one place. Other locations and collaborations may gradually emerge, notably in Portugal, Spain and elsewhere in Europe. Each development will take shape progressively, according to the encounters, partnerships and resources brought together around the Foundation.

Our approaches

Caring for every dimension of yourself.

GINELA hopes to bring together different approaches with a shared intention: to help everyone take time for themselves, restore their balance and explore practices that suit them. Activities will be introduced progressively, depending on the locations, practitioners and programmes organised by the Foundation.

GINELA also hopes to create unifying events around its values, bringing together practitioners, artists, members, patrons and friends of the Foundation.

In time

Light, Love & Peace

In time, the Foundation also hopes to bring a major GINELA gathering to life around Light, Love and Peace, combining music, encounters, learning and shared moments.

The first dates will be announced as the project develops.

The team

The people bringing GINELA to life.

GINELA is above all a human adventure. A team is gradually forming around its founder, bringing together complementary backgrounds and sensitivities with a shared desire: to turn the Foundation’s vision into a tangible, lasting project open to others.

Alexandre “Sacha” de Pierpont

Founder

Alexandre “Sacha” de Pierpont is the founder of Foundation GINELA, created in memory of his wife Isabelle. Through this project, he hopes to turn a deeply personal story into an initiative dedicated to others, creating places for renewal, encounters and sharing. Today, he leads the development of the Foundation and its first location in the Principality of Andorra.

Géraldine van Voorst

Coordination & wellbeing support

Géraldine van Voorst has explored approaches to wellbeing, integrative health and self-knowledge for many years. Trained notably in nutritional therapy, Integrative Health Coaching and NLP, she is also interested in complementary practices and the links between lifestyle, personal balance and self-knowledge. Within GINELA, she contributes to the development and coordination of the project, as well as reflection on the support and experiences offered by the Foundation. Curious, open and attentive to others, she places listening, encounters and respect for each person’s journey at the heart of her approach.

A team set to grow GINELA hopes to gradually bring together professionals and practitioners who share its values: wellbeing practitioners, teachers, therapists, artists, speakers and support professionals.

Taking part in GINELA

An accessible project, supported together.

GINELA hopes to reconcile two principles: making its initiatives as accessible as possible while ensuring the quality and sustainability of its activities. Depending on the programmes, different forms of participation may be offered: membership of the Foundation, contributions to activities, sharing costs or specific conditions for certain stays and events.

Details will be provided as activities are established.

Support GINELA

Helping GINELA grow, together.

GINELA is a project in the making. Creating its first House in Andorra, then developing its activities, requires places, skills, partners and resources. The Foundation therefore hopes to bring together those who identify with its vision and wish to contribute directly to its development.

Become a patron

Patronage provides lasting support for GINELA’s development and helps create its first initiatives. Support can take different forms: a financial contribution, providing resources or skills, supporting a programme, an event or the development of a place.

Become a partner

Businesses, institutions, professionals, associations and local organisations can also take part through collaborations built around shared values and goals.

Make a donation

Every contribution helps develop the Foundation’s activities and its ability to make them accessible to as many people as possible.

Build with us

GINELA is still at the beginning of its story. This is precisely what makes this stage special: those who join it today can play a tangible part in what it becomes tomorrow.
